Authentic jerseys have everything sewn onto them, and are made of a thicker, heavier materials. If a team uses multi-colored numbers, each layer of those numbers will be sewn in place.Premier jerseys are made of the same material as replica jerseys (lighter and off-color). All of the logos are screen printed onto the jersey. The name and number are sewn onto the jersey, but if the team uses multi-colored numbers, then only one layer is sewn on, while the other layers are screen printed onto the numbers.
Personally, I don't like the feel of premier jerseys. I would go Authentic, or just go Replica. But for teams like the Steelers and Colts that only have single layer numbers, it may not matter as much.
Anyhow, the NFL offers all three levels of jerseys in a custom format.
