Chicago Bulls meet with LeBron James tomorrow, have a huge media package ready for the pitch, thoughts?
Rumor has it that a high tech video editor has put together a video for their meeting to display what it may be like for LeBron to throw on that Bulls jersey and hear the roar of the Chicago Bulls fans (most ticket sales in NBA last year). LeBron called Derrick Rose the day they were eliminated from the playoffs and told him “I would love to play with you”. LeBron and Noah also squashed the beef over the dancing, which is a well known fact. LBJ helped Noah up off the floor 3 times in the playoff series, and Noah called LBJ “the best player on the planet” after the Bulls were eliminated. Jerry Reinsdorf has also gone on record saying he has no problem paying the luxury tax, which means they are gonna spend spend spend to bring LeBron is. Derrick Rose would be LeBron’s first true sidekick, and unlike Miami, LeBron would get the majority of the credit for winning titles in Chicago, one of the most passionate sports cities in the world. What are your thoughts? LeBron saved Chicago and Cleveland for his last 2 meetings and said he will make a decision on Monday. It appears that he lined up the “long shots” first, and saved his two most likely choices for last. What do you think?
(sidenote: before some youngster types “LeBron doesn’t want to play in Jordan’s shadow”, he already answered that question a week ago and said it’s a challenge he would love to take on, and Jordan’s legacy in Chicago makes LeBron want to play there “MORE”.)
Oh and the Bulls just so happened to be LeBron’s favorite team as a kid growing up. Which he’s stated numerous times, and as seen in a picture here of a younger LeBron wearing a Bulls jersey:
